First, you have eight different countries, Russia, China, Iraq, Japan, France, England, and Germany.
The game starts at year 2000 and expands into the future. Each country starts with a randomly generated total
wealth. Each countries growth rate is determined when the game first
runs. So may be sometimes one country grows faster than the other, but it goes in cycles that one country may rise and fall in time. You use your wealth to buy workers to help you to expand. You use farmer to maintain food level, which is essential
for all activities because they requires expenditures of food. Once food is maintained you need
to buy exacavaters to excavate resources.(Resources are
trees, copper, coal, copper, iron, and oil.) you can sell collected ones from LookUp button on the far left
corner of the board to get a higher totalWealth. You also need to buy technicians who will work for you to make new inventions like new weapons and greater production rate. Whenever something new is achieved, they
will report it in messagebox. You can make them all start to work by double clicking them, and you need to repeat it after a period becuase then the workers stops working. If an excavater can not find resources
in one spot then move it to another, that spot's resources are depleted. You can use left and right arrow keys
to move around the country of United States. You have the cities of Chicago, St.Louis, Boston, New York, Philapdehia, Washington, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. If you buy your workers intially they are all placed in Boston, but you can set the city they intially at by going to LookUP from the lower left corner and type the name of the city you want in the white textfield box, and then press set button to set the city you are going after.
You are never secured because when you are technologically backward and poor, you are very likely to be attacked by another country, if you are, you have to defend your cities against enemy in 10 turns, if you achieved it, then, you are successfully defend yourself, and the enemy pays you to make peace, if you are strong, it is your goal to conquer other nations.
During a battle, your goal is to capture all the enemy cities as soon as possible(because while you sare fughting and use all your wealth and technology, other non fighting nations are still growing.) while keep your base cities.
If your original base cities are occupied or all your troops are destroyed then you lose the battle and you need to pay to make peace. If you withdraw, you need also make peace and pay. If you win, of course, all countries wealth is yours, and this country no longer exists.
Generally speaking, the quality of all possible units are the following:
soldiers are weaker than tank units,
tank, soldiers, missiles are vulnerable to bombers bombing attack
highshooter are killers to fighters and bombers but vulnerable to soldiers and tanks

So, how early you develop your technology or how fast you gather resources and sell will all determine the outcome of the game, you eventually wins by taking all countries.
Your country's GDP is constantly compared with that of the others, if your GDP is about
equal of others, in every 15 years you may attacked by another country. Then, it is your
job to defend your base. If your GDP is far below any other country, you are likely to be
attacked within two years or even less. (A year in this game is about 2 minutes).

You have two fighting situation:
1. you start a fight:
You job is to capture the enemy's bases, if you can do it, then you win, and the country is destroyed
and your get half of its current totalWealth total into your totalWealth. You lose the battle when all of your troops ON BOARD are destroyed or your original bases are captured by the enemy. Even if you lose while attacking another country, you are not
dead immediately, but you are weak, likely be attacked by other countries.
