not a big fan of dress up games, but i absolutely LOVE Halloween (greatest holiday of the year) so 4.5/5 good choice!! not bad!

Note: - I know these types of games are not typical on NewGrounds but I'm looking for feedback on the idea of having quests i.e searching for items, the style of coding, the quality of unique music and just the drawing in general. We've been learning AS2 for a while now and after this game we're looking at branching off into different genre's so any suggestions there also are welcome.
Game Description: Dress up Button the girl in all kinds of cute and spooky halloween clothes and items. You can even change her hair, hair colour and face. Can you successfully brew the cauldron's potion 3 times? If you can you will be rewarded with fun bonus items to use in the game.
Game Instructions: Use your mouse to click on the the menu bar buttons in the top right hand part of the screen to dress up Button the girl in a halloween outfit.
Bonus Gifts: If you dress up Button in the correct item of clothing then a special item will appear.
Hint: Try dressing her up in a lion hat!
If you can successfully brew the cauldron's potion 3 times you will be rewarded with 3 different surprise items to use in the game. You can find these items by clicking on the present box in the top menu bar. Bonus items will only appear if you make the potion correctly for that gift.

Your feedback is most welcome :) A lot of our artwork we like to think is fairly polished and cute. The main thing that is holding us back is our coding capabilities but this game took us to new heights and we are learning something new every day :)
We're glad we changed your mind, unfortunately you won't find many other fun dress up games from what we've seen but I personally would like to see more dress up games like this.

It's not only a dress up... there is MORE fun things to do out there in the game... I think I finish it all 100% and got everything... really a MUST PLAY Halloween game...
this is until now the best Halloween game yet I don't know if there will be good game but this is the first and the best one !!

I'm soo glad that you've enjoyed this dress up. Our last game which you can cook penguins unfortunately got someone not soo happy to see our games but the comments on this game have been really good and have left us feeling that the quality of our games isn't bad.
We're presently working on:
1. A cooking game
2. A platform game
Though we're hoping to get a new updated spelling game and also an action style game.
I admit, I was kinda surprised to see a dress-up game within the Top 10, you said it in your author comment, it's a rather unusual genre for NG. But I can see why it got a rather good score.
Just like klgr already mentioned, the artwork is fine and fits perfect, especially since your target group are surely younger kids (mainly girls). Nice soundtrack, funny & creative ideas, just what kids need, if you ask me. My Godchild is 6 years old, and she liked all the different costumes, mixing the potion - and she loved the teddy-bear ;)
So, all in all, I would say you reached your goal and found a new way to present dress-up-games for a younger audience. Wish you a Happy Halloween!

Thank you soo much for the positive feedback and I'm glad that your Godchild also liked the game. We've received feedback on some things that can be improved but for the most part we've been able to provide a quality dress up game with a twist.
We're working on new games now but unfortunately we're just a two person operation so it takes us some weeks to get out new games in between work and normal life. Though all the positive feedback gives us inspiration and makes us want to continue working towards quality games.
That was fun and cute. I've always liked dress up games. The artwork in this is really clean and adorable =)

Kirsten has been working on the artwork a lot to ensure it was good quality. We'll be keeping to this style in the future but will try to make some different styles of games instead of just dress up games.
