Aside from crashing once and reseting all of my data when trying to restart a level, the strange hitbox dectetion causing the car to either take damage or not take said damage when landing or bumping into an obstacle, multiple bugs like that one time one of the cars bumped into me and send me flying.
This game is decent at best but mediocre at worst in terms of gameplay, that being said, it had nice visuals (but what's with the newspapers in some areas and that one employer's laptop in 'Office Again' area showing a woman topless? isn't this game rated E for everyone?) and I found the artsyle to be quite charming.
The main problem with the gameplay is in order to earn all 3 stars on each level, you simply have to speedrun said levels. The amount of health your car has or the amount of points you scored is not necessary in acquiring 3 stars on all of the levels, I learned that on my second playthrough of the game.
The last three races where actually the best levels of the entire game, they were quite challenging but not too unfair aside from some terrains towards the finish (especially on the first cup, that top shortcut has got to be one of the worst shortcuts since it completely stops you in your tracks and allows other cars to take the win).
Also how on earth are you supposed to complete 'Racing reverse' achievement? the momentum of your car does not allow you to turn at the exact time you want it to start reversing since it'll rocket out of the finising line if you try to do that method, you can't even go on a terrain ramp/obstacle ramp near the finishing line and let it drive itself backwards since it'll always face forward even if you drove it backwards.
Speaking of driving; the controls aren't bad, it's just the pick up pace is quite slow when you come to a sudden stop and want to start moving again. The Turbo boost (from my experience) gives you a minor boost while on ground, while above ground it sort of acts like a weak glider you get so often by balancing left and right.
The sound effects weren't all that bad; who wouldn't like to imitate car noises when bored at work? but I do know it might be annoying to some, so it gets a pass for me.
The music is decent despite it being a one track, even if it does not match the feel of racing against the clock or other cars to the slightest, said 'racing' music being reused for the menu screen but slowed down takes away a point for creativity. However, being it an acappela track, reminded me of Crash Bandicoot: Twinsanity soundtrack which I'll give the point back (especially that it somewhat goes well with the game's sound desing which is mostly comprised of noises made with a mouth).
In conclusion, I did not enjoy this game as much as I were expecting to be but still had some motivation to go through all of it.
Looking forward to reviewing the sequel since I know it improved on many issues the first game had, and even expanded on it in some areas, so I'm definitely in for a treat the next time I'll decide to play it again after many years. :)
