How this game wasn't blammed right out of the gate is extremely surprising to me because to me, the game was terrible. First off, there is absolutely no substance to the game. You just press start and rack up points, that's it. No different modes, no different levels, and no music what soever. I get that this is a "retro" game that, I think, hearkens back to the days of Atari consoles and arcade machines where it was less about anything else and more about amassing a high score. But even judged by that merit the game still fails as there is no high score system in place. The game doesn't even have the decency to give you a final score when you inevitably die. You can either go one of two ways if you want to improve this game. 1, add in what I addressed above (music, different modes, etc.). Or, 2, go all out with the arcade feel and implement a high score system. These additions would improve the game significantly, but right now, this can barely be dignified as a game.
