The cover was ok.

But what really made this flash was how you highlighted important events of the world. Good job!

Very nicely done

I enjoyed watching your movie and liked the transformations like when the Eiffel Tower merged into the VanGogh. I suggest, though, that you put the guillotine a bit lower so that you cannot see that there is nobody executed at the time.

cheshirecat1582 responds:

Yeah I struggled with that part... I wasn't sure if many people (or i should say american's) know about Queen Mary... and I thought about putting her next the the guillotine but i didnt want anyone to think she was being executed... So i settled with this...
Thank you for your suggesting...

Why not go all the way to the present?

I really enjoyed the concept of looking into the past and seeing all of the things the world and people habe gone through until the present day.....well ALMOST the present day. Just would have liked to see all the way up until 2011 like the stupidity with politics and the economy and blah blah blah, but that's just me. But none the less AMAZING VIDEO!! 5/5 10/10

cheshirecat1582 responds:

I had to stop somewhere... I would have loved to put Obama and such in there but John Lennon's death just seemed right.
Thanks for the review!

Loved it.

I like how you put the world's history inside a crystal ball. Reminds me slightly of that Star Trek: The Original Series episode involving the Guardian of Forever.
The number you used to represent the year confused me at first as to its significance. Perhaps you could make it clearer with BCE and CE? or BC and AD, whatever suits.

I'm curious about a couple of things, though... Why represent the start of the First World War with an American recruitment poster? The Americans didn't join that war until 1917.

I immediately thought of The Beatles when I saw the flash title, though I notice you didn't use their version of the song. Not that I've got a problem with the version you used.

Overall I enjoyed what I saw. Well done. :)

cheshirecat1582 responds:

I took on this project about 3 to 4 years ago... And history wasn't my number 1 subject in school, so there are bound to be a few mistakes in there... I tried my best to reference the facts but that one must have slipped... I did have the event happening next to the year... but then I kinda liked playing with the idea of not letting you in on the whole story and letting you figure it out... As for the song... I tried the original in there and it just didnt flow quite right... I also worried about the message a little... Let it be... I dont want to come across saying that the war and the lives sacrificed where for nothing and to forget about it... I wanted to say something like hey stop fighting and lets live our lives... but the Beatles didnt compose a song with those exact words... lol so I settled for this song... Anyways make a long response short... Thank You for your review! I very much appreciate it!
