Best Flash puzzle platformer ever
Every single puzzle is ingeniously designed.
I'm pretty disappointed by how unwilling people are to adapt to a new perspective. The controls didn't give me any trouble at all, and games don't have to all conform to what you think is the proper way games are supposed to be. In a way, the new perspective can be considered just part of the challenge. Also, I think that if the game was aligned so that up was always jump and then the level flipped over like in Shift, it would be harder to keep track of what you were doing. Having the level stay put like this allows you to get a better idea of what's going on as you progress through it. I really think that this is the best way the game could be.
Almost fully realized
This is actually very, very good. The music is charming, the graphics are cute, and the concept, while very similar to ilomilo, is unique enough to stand on its own. However, the gameplay itself lacks in certain ways, which for a puzzle game is insufferable. The controls and unorthodox viewpoint are very confusing. The character movement keys are coordinated to the world, not to the character's viewpoint, so each character has to control oppositely. I personally would've been better able to move around if the arrow keys corresponded to the character (up is always jump, left and right is actually move left and right).
Of course, this could've been avoided altogether and been that much simpler if, instead of the characters being vertical and split across the screen, every time you switched characters it flipped right-side up - horizontally - to each character, a la ilomilo. It's just very confusing to control characters that walk sideways.
Besides that, this is a very good game, with clever puzzles, medal challenges, and multiple paths.
Clever but not good
This game is "ok" and is very clever but its not very entertaining. Its like you cant taste the lemons from your lemonade. It confuses me and totally takes away the fun
