This took a while, due to me having to make so much changes and deciding that something did not fit. I think my skills have improved from before, and I stepped up the frame rate. I am now at 48. I'll be using this rate to make my series appear alot more smoother. I was testing a lot of stuff in this video. I was testing out the widescreen, text, sounds, motion tweening, music, lighting of some effects, and so on. Mel belongs to me. Frost belongs to Frost1992. I apologize for the lag. I was unable to fix it all. I also apologize for the widescreen being a bit small, I'll make sure to fix all the problems here in my next flash video.

I do a bit of animating myself (Though my animations are hand-drawn, not sprites) and I've seen a fight similar to this, so I kinda got rather bored. Mel looks similar to DestructionSeries's character Aege and he fights like Aege too, so I didn't like that. The sound effects I've seen NUMEROUS times before in other fight flashes, but other than that, it's good.

It's good animation but...
It's a good animation and nice characters.
Good things:
The animation was really good and it nice and smooth. The fight was really cool. The quality was sharp and it's great how it's not blurry.
Bad things:
Fights are a cliché and very common so it's kinda boring (but you made up for it with the great animation). The sound effects...I can't tell you how many times I heard those sets of sound effects in fight scenes. It would be cool to use other SFX.
I know, but I can't seem to find any other sound effects. I downloaded every single set so far from the Sounds Resource. Findsounds.com doesn't do much for me and it doesn't have SFX I need. Got any other sources I can find and use?
it was ok but
you shouldn't use the same background AND music that was used in another animation. you an get away with one of the 2 but people will take points away from both...unless they saw your animation before the other.(or there one of the rare ones that don't care about who uses what recources)
Also 48 is good yes but higher frame rates are for characters who have lots of sprites of a single movement(like a street fighter 3rd strike characters use 9 frames for one kick. or 3D characters) kirbies on the other hand are ment for somewhere between 27-32 fps.
Animation was nice but farmiliar
Don't get me wrong, you're a great animator but what I saw was stuff that I've seen before. Especially that whole sequence when they were running in the Yoshi forest. That scene was exactly identical to SMBZ, music and all. Also, those black lines you put there to make it look like the thing was widescreen.....yeah just get rid of them if you can't do it right cuz that just made your animation look sloppy. Now this isn't a bad review, I like your animation....just make the next one a little more...original
I plan to. Thanks for letting me know. I kinda of don;t like using widescreen, but I was just using it for just this. In my next animation, I won't be using it.
