game wont start. i typed in my name and hit enter or w/e and now its justa map that says "Add new player" but theres nothing to interact with. the description sounds great to me but the game just wont start. i tried refreshing the page and now its just stuck on "loading player data". good luck getting this fixed because id really love a new mercantile game to play

i like the consept
but i cant seem to trade items on other islands than my own. do i need to build warehouses there first?

Thanks for playing! Yes you need a warehouse to store goods that you're going to sell.
How do you gain workers?
I like the game and the concept, but it's kind of a pain when your limited to a total of five workers. I there a way to hire more?

Yes, you gain an extra worker for every level you gain. Our group sort of rushed this game to release so the levelling system, among many other features, is not balanced so well.
Good concept
The concept is great, but it's a bit hard to read the fonts and the text overlays. Also, it would be great to have the task bar always present, docked on the right, but not overlayed on the game.
To the people without a mouse: right click inside the game, the flash menu will open, then left click inside the game.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah that was one of the UI features we were working on changing. We understand there are several refinement issues in this game, hopefully we can address them when we have more free time after school ends and we can release much better game.
