My good friend Mike Brown and I worked together on this for a university project. The criteria dictated that we'd have 90 seconds to mainly use typography and Bob Dylan lyrics to get the narrative accross, and take inspiration from the works of Alfred Hitchcock. Naturally we abandoned Hitchcock - the Sin City graphic novels by Frank Miller seemed more fitting

Unfortunately it's mostly tweens here, if the brief had allowed us more time I would liked to have used more frame by frame - maybe next time

Creative and refreshing

I really like the active moving text that was mixed in with the suspenseful music, along with some of the creative animations. The simple black and white was an interesting choice and with a dash of red at the end.

I hope to see more of these animations.

I quite enjoyed it

I quite enjoyed it, but my main gripe is with your description. I'm NOT trying to force my tastes on you at all, but if you didn't look at any of Hitchcock's stuff I'd really encourage you to check some of it out. He truly is a master of suspense and a lot of his stuff still holds up today - if you're willing to give it a chance.

Again, I'm not saying you have to like him, I'm just saying it's a shame if you didn't check him out.

Definitely Awesome, but...

Don't sell yourself short with the credits! By that I mean don't say "Forced to use Lyrics" and stuff like that. You definitely have something here, make sure you act professional about it. I was engaged the entire ride through, then I saw that in the credits and went "Oh, well if it was just for an assignment then oh well!". It actually was almost comedic thanks to that, which completely took me out of the mood. You did a great job, don't spoil it with the credits! :)

You really made the most of your tween-only limitations! Very creative visuals!

I also thought the obvious spite toward the Bob Dylan lyrics was a nice touch. :)
