Just a game I wanted to make for a while. The story is incredibly symbolic, so don't worry if some parts don't seem to make sense. basically, you need the cog of colour to place in the sun so colour can be restored to the world, enjoy!

This has left me confused, and I feel depressed, but I liked it , great short game :) The jumping was a bit unresponsive though (Maybe just me) That makes it a 9. But I still feel like im going to cry ;(
Well..
When I saw the gamesfactory2 logo pop up, I thought I was in for another lame poorly made game with little thought put into it and indiscernible graphics. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this game actually didn't suck. I think this would be the exception that proves that most of the stuff that comes out of gamesfactory2 is really just lazy authorship.
On to the game. I thought the story was nice, if a bit short. for what it was the game was nicely made, and the choice of music was good (though If you wanted to you could have a change when you die, a change when you are resurrected, and a change when you deliver the gear). I did notice a few things though that could be worked on or you may want to consider.
1. Although the story is nice, it also lacks any sort of challenge or thought from the player. It isn't the first, and it isn't always a bad thing. However the player didn't even really have to collect the gear. In the second part you may want to try enhancing the interactivity of the story.
2. The game does not work well with the shrink grow flash feature for newgrounds. I am not certain how to disable that (or to make it work with that), but it may be something to look into. it does expand the viewing area of the play field which isn't a bad thing in and of itself. However the white bar at the bottom kind of is.
3. There were some parts of the game that were dark. I don't mean metaphorically either. Navigating the one set of jumps at the start of the cave was a bit tricky just because you couldn't see the platforms.
Overall it was a good game, and gets thumbs up from me. I very much look forward to part 2 (which I hope is also a bit longer). I also, again, thank you for proving that crappy games from Gamesfactory 2 are the result of lazy authors and justifying the low scores I give to bad ones.
I give this a 3/5 8/10. Keep up the good work!
Simple but good
This is a short game, but interesting if you read all of the little notes (which I recommend expanding the game for) and the background music is ok.
