i thought it was fun and entertaining.
the difficulty is challenging but not brutal. i liked that.
graphics weren't bad
the game was simple but i don't mind, i thought it was fun. a game doesn't have to be detailed to be fun.
the characters and the voice acting weren't very original. that was a little annoying

i've played about 3 of the series, and i have not and still not seem to appreciate the games in as full of a depth as many users apparantly do. First, enemies.
: The enemies are very boring. A seemingly endless and repetitive swarm of enemies keep coming. Why do only some people have guns, while others seem to think running into you is the best course of action. Also, they have a huge advantage of the ability to aim while standing still, so their shots can go in the direction that is not best suiteed for you, which enemies should do. But why have the protagonist have it so that she has to run while aiming up? In some sidescollers, its necessary to run and shoot up to kill bats or what-not. But in a cramped screen type playing, running and shooting up will most certainly set you up to get hurt, either running into falling enmies or running into a random bullet. All the enemieshave a repetitive design, and I hate the guys with shields, becasue their shots are impossible to dodge, since they need to shooot you in order to be open and killed.
Why can they go though solid walls and ground? Even if they are designed to do so, why don't they keep going after hitting you? Surely a human is softer than a rock or a metal.
To be quite honest, im really getting tired of seeing these games getting front page. Never have I seen one author get front-paged for spewing out a weak game after game, copying the gameplay, not adjusting that detail at all, just moving the story foward. The only thing that you seem to be good at is not havin many noticeable bugs that I can exploit. Still, (I know you don't have any control over this), the front page needs new ideas to come and be recognized, not the same shet over and over again.
How the controls should be
Arrow Keys: Left, Right, Jump, Duck (What, you're not smart enough to make that bitch jump by pressing UP instead of point her gun up like that?)
Shoot&Aim: Use the mouse (It's sodding easier that way...Oh you want to make a new Contra? Epic fail then.)
Weapon select: can be any button like spacebar or Z.
Oh by the way, I vote this a 10 because it's finally over. No more crappy fucks in the daily feature. I'm so sodding happy :)
