Just finished work on this new game for SolidGamers.com

Basically run around and kill everyone, and oh, stay alive.

Anything else? Ermmm... no think that's it.

You may want to conserve your ammo, and find guns when they're dropped, else you're going to be dead pretty quickly. We don't want that now.. do we!... Do we?... No... no pretty sure we don't.

It's a good time killer

I'd add some music, some kind of story and a bigger variety of enemies, maybe also a few maps, so that you don't keep fighting in the same place...some kind of shop would be also nice.
Now to what was good: as the user under me said, the target collision, map was well drawn, the soldiers were ok.

viralplatipuss responds:

Thanks! That's actually very useful feedback. It was only supposed to be a small game for now, but I did work very hard on the collision engine and other clever mechanisms for keeping the code lightweight.

I'll be sure to make a whole host of new maps for a second version. :)

I would do a bigger game if i was you :D

Great target collision with bullets, but compared to bigger games this is "ok" for time killing....soldiers XD

Thumbs up, and keep it up! :)

viralplatipuss responds:

Thanks, I did spend a while on the code. :)

But yeah, I'm already working on larger flash game projects as I have been coding for a long time now. But this was just a small time-killing game as you said. I never intended to rival any big games with this but I am working on some larger projects. The only problem with bigger games is that they take much longer to make and the pay-off is riskier. You could end up doing really well, or just wasted 2 months! :P

But I am working on bigger things don't you worry. :)
