I made this for a 'Game in Ten Days' competition over on Kong, with the theme being a pre-defined set of artwork and SFX to be used exclusively.

This cost me quite a few late nights, but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Also, I misread the deadline and finished two days early. Whoops.

Not submitted anything to NG before, looking forward to seeing the residents here. Maybe the % of posionous comments will be slightly less than what I'm accustomed to.

Had a tough time with this one. clicked but the robot guy wouldn't shoot.

Great game, had fun blasting aliens to ash, could be better if you could upgrade the buildings.

Ugh, awful. No upgrades for your robot. The aliens come in massive waves after the second day, which makes no sense. And every upgrade is just pretty much a waste of money, they barely help. The graphics weren't bad, no. And the music was catchy, you kinda got lost in it. But.. That gameplay.. Anyway. I don't rate it very good. A sequel might be better.

This Game is Too "Esey*"

Great concept, and fairly well made. But like I said, the game could have had a little more complexity to it that would have made it more enjoyable and less simple.

Not bad, but...

This is a really basic concept, but it could be so much more. Instead of a copy / paste space invaders game it could have been a nice evolution.

A tutorial would have been nice considering it took my until day 3 to realize the building took damage.

Also, the money could have been used to buy upgrades for your bot or building. You could even have added the ability to buy extra computer controlled bots that would help you defend the neighborhood. The neighborhood could also have turned into a sprawling metropolis as it was upgraded.

In the end, you have shown that you do have the talent to make a good game (the graphics and music were very nice), but you need to put a bit more work into the game's depth. Try to add game play elements keep the player hooked for hours.
