Very fun.

I loved that you still had to think to find the codes, since most weren't directly spelled out for you. The 4 symbol one was probably my favourite. Though the first thing I tried on the 7-letter code was NEWYEAR, thinking it was clever to have to come up with it based on the scenario and not from something in the room, only to find I was wrong.

Somehow it feels like you're escaping Christmas to move on to the new year haha. Very clever, which is exactly how these games should be: challenging yet intuitive.

Quite good.

Wouldn't mind seeing a few minor changes though. Mainly having a separate mute-button for the sfx and bgm, but other than that, the rest is negligible.

Question to the author (or to anyone else who feel like commenting on it in their own review):
The coin in the present. Does it have any purpose, or is it just as it's description says: "A gift for you."?

SPOILER ALERT!!! (avert your gaze from the below notes if you don't want any hints.)

For those who would like a few hints on the stuff that ain't in plain sight:

1: The combination for the 7-letter lock is somewhere else in the room. "Search" for it with the contents from the gift.
2: The combination for the lock above the 7-letter lock (4 squares) is right in front of your nose.
3: Santa dropped something. Go have a closer look. ;) (Kinda a give-away hint...)

4: For those who've found what you were looking for in the first hint, but can't seem to get the lock open; Scramble. ;)
