I must admit that, even though it's part of the joke, the bomb does take an awfully long time to fall. The whole animation was made to Tchaikovsky's '1812 Overture', and that bit of the song happened to be rather long. Instead of editing the music, and in doing so, bastardising an iconic piece of classical music, I just went with it.
