epic
I made this animation about 7 months ago for college, the course wasn't an animation course, but allowed me to experiment with animation. I consider this my first full animation.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
epic
for a first animation that isn't part of an animation course i think you've done a great job! i like the intensity of the button pushing scene, and the other "board members" faces as they see it come into fruition as if it is a question of morality or just in itself a reflection of who we are inside.. monsters, good natured or not. Without condoning... or condemning. I understand.
o.O
Did i get high?
cool
I liked it, was original and had a nice uncomforting atmosphere about the characters/world. Music was good, but a similar piece without vocals would have been better.
thanks :), yeah the the music got chucked in and the ending was rushed so i could get it in before deadline, i am working on one at the minute by animation to the music, so it should work better with it.
But...
What happened to the dinosaur? He just sits in the teddy bear forever? I don't really get what any of the first half has to do with the ideas, I thought you were going somewhere like the yellow guy extracted some dinosaur DNA cause it had the red "idea juice" in it, and then the yellow guy took the DNA and... I dunno, did something with it.
Quality-wise, it's very nice, I like the music, art, and animation, it's just the story I don't really get, but maybe I'm just slow, and also use way too many commas, don't you think so?
i suppose the general idea of the animation is the building process of an idea and how the brain sorts out the ideas, the dinosaur is the selected idea, my original plan was to have more scenes, showing the the dinosaur being removed from the bear and brought to a processing room and final being sent off as a "good" idea, but i had to rush it to hand it in on time. the whole idea of the animation allowed me to avoid having a clear story and play it off as the randomness of our thoughts. haha. cheers for your kind words.
p.s. i enjoyed the commas :)
