To kinda clear up the question of why those samurai attacked the pandas you should make another flash movie. There's alot of reasons why they could be attacking.
Bunnykill, but with Pandas
For a first effort, this is amazing. Some of the combat moves were a little un-polished ad could possibly use a little more research, just to make them as correct as possible. For example, the execution scene would NOT have the guard using his katana to saw the head off a defeated opponent. They would use one or two quick slices to remove the head from the shoulders, as the blade was very sharp and it is not designed for things like a sawing motion - you would break the blade.
Looking at the fights, you've done quite a bit of work there and it does come up with a decent setting for a plot. We don't know why there is a conflict, but we are sure there is, for some reason or another. More information may be useful at the start, possibly with some sort of voiceover from a narrator.
As I look at the plinths for the statues, you should have their names put on them, as opposed to a title "bravest" or "greatest" warrior who ever lived. The Japanese would not be so condescending in their statues, so just changing it to "honoured warrior of the great war" might be the answer.

In all its bloody glory, this is amazing quality animation with a great interest factor. There is a lot of bloodshed, and a lot of ninja swords. The music goes perfectly with the theme of the flash, and the length is full enough for the idea to be fully fleshed out (no pun intended).
An ultraviolent gorefest of ninja people, it's no wonder that this has got the rating it has. This is all-out, no-holds-barred fight scenes, and we all know every body likes good action. There are interesting bosses and tons of grunts for our hero to finish off. Spectacular.
You being inspired by the ninja and samurai movies is a good thing, since you know what the genre requires. Lots of weapons, fighting, blood and action, almost to the point of sadistic. There are a few points where I had to look away, but mostly it was a thrilling ride.
The initial scenes with names on it are well-made and amazingly detailed, and set the scene of a peaceful village under siege. Myself, I prefer less blood, but for stylistic purposes, a lot of people enjoy this amount.
The whole thing is superb. The ending is also fantastic, with the contrast of two fighters: "the best to fight, and the bravest to fight." It shows that heart and skill are two separable things, and they should be treated as such. Mostly this is an examination of the braggadocious nature of the- Ah, forget it, this is awesome mindless bloody action, with no need for a deeper magnification. Thanks for letting me watch!

Nice to see it got daily fourth place as well so bravo there! The animation was quite nice. It seemed similar to Madness but was far more straightforward with the action actually and everyone seemed to have a face. Sadly the stealthiest and strongest warrior got killed by a mere grunt while the bravest one got killed by the leader of the bloodthirsty samurai.
The storyline was very nice done and solid. The animation was also solid too.
The choosing in audio was splendid and seemed to fit through out the whole little story. The music seemed to do the animation well.
Kind of sad how the leader destroyed everyone else presumably and let that older couple live I guess.
Overall, nicely done animation albeit a bit similar to the Madness saga.
