Friends - Episode 1

This is a short comedy series I have been thinking of submitting. It's my first serious flash I've ever made and not deleted. It stars the cartoon version of me and my two best friends Lane and Nick.

It's about my friends and I going on crazy stupid random adventures. Today's episode is where I accidentally trap us all into a fighting game world where ANYTHING can happen.

I'm open to any criticism as long as it will help my future submissions. Thank you.

If anyone actually cares about the opening song, here are the lyrics (I wrote it in less than five minutes):

I made every part of this flash by myself, and I'm very proud of that.

Best animation mini-film EVAR!

That's the best mini-film I've seen on this site because it's AWESOME! I recommend you put this on youtube so other people around the world can see it and plus I want to download it and put it on my laptop. I really appreciate that you made a flash with me and Lane in it. I love the intro music and how you get angry at me for using the bat. I also like how you made Lane's face look in the intro. Lastly, since i have a voice recorder on my laptop you can send me my lines, I can say them, then send the recording back to you with my voice because it would be cool to hear my voice and how it sounds like. Great job Iain I can't wait to see more episodes of Friends.

P.S I finally played Left 4 Dead on the computer and you were right it's really fun. Too bad I can't play it on the internet. :(

I've already started on the second episode and it's going to have better art, recordings, sfx, and MUSIC! I like your idea of sending me your recordings, maybe I can get Lane to do that too. Oh, one last thing Nick. DON'T JUST GIVE THIS MOVIE A TEN JUST BECAUSE YOU"RE IN IT. I want well thought out reviews detailing everything I need to work on. Sort of like the guy under me. Thanks anyway though.

not bad

The series has potential, I think you only need to improve the animation part and the voices, the idea can make room to many good storys.

Thanks for the review, I have to settle with my laptop's microphone and Microsoft Sound Recorder. I also can't talk too loud, I might wake someone up. Maybe if I could buy a better microphone I might be able to record better quality. I'm already planning on making the animation better and smoother, I just wish I had a tablet!

Again, thanks for the review, I'll work on it more.
