Special Agent Bunnet

Author Comments

Special Agent Bunnet answers an urgent call from the Chief of Police - only he has the lack of sense necessary to get up at four in the morning and drive around deactivating slime bombs placed throughout the city by Doctor Dishwater.

Each bomb has a set of buttons on the top. Most of these buttons have a pair somewhere else on the surface, but pressing the ones without a match will deactivate the bomb. Pressing a wrong button will cost you five seconds!

awesome

im 6th on the list of best time of all, great game got annoying on the 2nd last one but the worst was the last one because it took me ages to get it (jokes) ,i like the concept i havent seen it b4 in any games, anyway great work :3.

Original!

An great and original game. I like the sounds, and the text boxes too. But I have a few points of improvement for you. The first is that it may be better if you made more of a story instead of ''stuck behind a truck'' and ''getting some coffee''. If you do that, it would be more of a game instead of a link of puzzles. Another point is that it's better if you say 10 seconds before the bomb detonates ''detonation in 10 seconds'' or something like that. That way I don't have to look at the timer often to know how much time I have left, and that makes it more exciting too. A third way to improve the game is to make the quality higher. Not only because it looks pretty, but mostly to make the buttons clearer. Sometimes, on fields with a lot of buttons (40 or so), buttons that are the same look slightly different, so you can think they are not the same. My last hint is to make a time bonus. I don't know if it shows the time you was busy with the bombs at the end because I was too slow to complete the level with the letters, but I would like to have a score depending on the time collapsed and the amount of times you failed to disarm a bomb within the time limit.

Except for these points, it is a great game, and I would like too see more variations of games of these sorts.

All good thoughts! Thanks for leaving your commentary. At the end of the game, you're told your total time spent and can submit it to Mochi (and I'm frankly amazed that someone's already done it in about four minutes, because my own record's closer to five).

This game just leapt into my head this week and was a quick project, but I wonder if I could do another one with the same characters but multiple routes and clues to track down the villain, Carmen Sandiego-style...

Awesome minigame?

I love the retro feel. What I love more is how you took a simple idea and was able to package it as something fresh. Unfortunately, there's only so far this could go without getting a bit boring. That said, it would make an amazing minigame :)

DavidXN responds:

Yes, I wondered myself how much people would be able to stand of it before leaving (the game is actually a level shorter than in my original plan). I'm wondering myself if anyone else has done something with this concept before - a sort of anti-pairs game - because I feel that they must have...

I'm glad you noticed the retro stylings, too - I started writing this just after re-buying a Commodore 64 book I used to have in the late 80s, so it influenced me a lot here :)

Simple and...

...well executed. Just not my cup of tea. Very proffesional.

DavidXN responds:

Thanks for saying :)

nice game

Pretty funny story line, some challenging puzzles but it would be great to have some music durring puzzle solving.
Nice art too.

DavidXN responds:

Thanks a lot :) Music there might be a thought - something countdown-like that wouldn't get irritating (or at least, would stay at the right level of irritating...!)
