Select 214 symbols from 19 categories to create up to 500 actual Japanese Kanji. You can smash one, two, or three symbols together, but not everything will combine. There's also a view mode where you can see what you've collected so far. Keep smashing and try to get them all. Have fun, and maybe even learn a little Japanese while you play. Please Enjoy :)

Note: This is my first flash project. Visit my website to see how I made it. There are screenshots of different stages of development. It was hard work, but I'm happy with the results. Let me know if you like it, too. Thanks for playing!

Nice Game

Reminds me of Doodle God, but seems a bit more difficult. The different tiles should porbably have captions of what they are, rather than having to scroll over all of them util you find what you're looking for. Just a suggestion, but it would make gameplay a lot smoother.

Ragnadox responds:

Thanks for the suggestion. This is similar to Doodle God, but creating the Kanji is more about symbol placement than logical combinations. The origins of many of the Kanji you can create in this game have been lost as the language changes over time, so the words end up being less important than the symbols and how they fit together.

hmmm

I like the originality of this thing but it's rather boring and i couldn't find a single one.

Ragnadox responds:

Yeah, this is definitely not an action game. It's supposed to be slow and relaxing. I think it might be better classified as a learning tool. I've found that the best way to play is to bring up a hint and try to match it by finding the parts it's made of. The hint stays on the screen until you smash something and you get infinite hints.
