So my friend has/had this site called Revolution Games and was making a Super Smash Bros. game in Game Maker called Super Smash Bros. Assault. I thought it was a pretty cool idea and at the time I wanted to animate something but I was tired of drawing.

I was sick for two days, off school, nothing to do, so I animated this! My sprite obsession was satisfied and I also experimented with V-cam a bit. This movie is kind of like a teaser trailer for the game and has most of the characters that will appear in the game (if the thing ever gets finished). Except the zombie and Banjo, I just like zombies and Banjo. Oh yeah, and I made this in grade 10 so like 2007/2008.

NOTE: Click on the black text boxes to advance the movie. I think clicking on the text box too early when Kirby runs into the fight might make the movie pause so don't just rapid-fire click it whenever they come up. Also, the part with Kirby getting crushed is supposed to be a Mario Party joke (where you get put through the hellish mini-games to be rewarded with super fun coins!) but apparently I can't set up jokes when I'm sick.

It's Alright

It's alright but not completed, if you add a little bit more of a story and more content it would be better.

Even though we didn't get to see a fight, the humor was acceptable and the animation was pretty. I find a certain connection between all of the characters that stays true to their sources, and I also enjoyed that. Good job!
