after a while I'm making this tutorial after my failure at "guide to 3-D ball"
this tutorial include:-making buttons
-basic movement and draging
-Making custom cursor following cursor etc.

Bug fixed (the White like thingy that cause the preloader won't load)
and i also remove the star because it will make the movie stop for a while and that's i think kinda bug too!
I add some explanation for the actionscript and some script example!

also changed the song
hope this new version came out with a good score!

now go there and vote 5! :)

Yeah, Usefull info. problem, too basic. These are things that almost every coder should know. If they dont, then this tutorial probably wont help them out much cause this would still be over their heads. Also, Check your grammer. "Dragging code are simple!" thats not the only example i found either. However, If i tell you where they are, you will fix thouse, and leave the ones i missed.

Overall suggestion: Perhaps haveing yoru tutorial divided up into a few difrent sections (Beginner intermidiated advanced) would help a little more. These tips i think would be under intermidiate. Beginner would be something like.... ok, i guess a few of these would be beginner. Like setting an objects X and Y coords.

Also, what version of AS is this? Cause im useing AS3 and its mouseX and mouseY when i do it. I guess thats also something i would add.

I agree

It has some very useful information that goes without saying, But yes the presentation of said info seems a bit sloppy. I liked the dragable box, maybe if you implemented small zones in your flash that displayed the specific things your instructing on. Such as for cursors you could have a box that you hover your cursor over to demonstrate the effect.

Also as previously mentioned, making your tut ... well a tut. That would be great, As in explaining things, and just what they are for people who may not know. Defiantly showing steps would be nice as well.

Simple things like that. Rather than a obnoxious song with stars...

ok thanks for the tips!
by the way i've changed the song and remove the star!

ok, where do i start

its not bad, but you could put more effort in that, perhaps more pics about how to do it, not ol` boring text and the code, if you put it you should try to explain it, not do a copy paste work from what u seen around.

another thing if implement things you know in your own very flash u could add some button to stop the music, that you like it , it doesnt mean that everyone else will like it too.

i say go around some more tutorials and how they are done and think how can you make a better tutorial than the ones that are around.. soo.. keep working
