Hey! This is a trailer for Pico's Mission! It was a collaboration between Andy70707 and I, where he was the AS2 programmer and I was the artist. Unfortunately, the game wasn't finished in time for Pico day, so we decided to upload the trailer. We're thinking of just submitting it next year, with all new graphics and a lot more content than that originally planned. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the reviews, I'll try to respond to all of them. :)

Wow, what a blast from the past! :) Yep, Pico's Mission was released, but not like this at all...it ended up being more of closed-space arcade-ish shooter, since I bit off way more than I could chew at the time. It went through at least 5 coders, and I just wanted it done. The final game is on my profile under 2012 games, and I even have an old postmortem in my news section.

Not bad, but the graphics could use some work. I haven't played a demo yet, so I can I only things by the trailer. Keep up the good work.
(Don't be bugged out by the 4, I rarely give things over 6 :D)

Thanks for the review! I know, the graphics could use some work, the final version will have raster backgrounds so they'll be more detailed. :)
Nice trailer
Though this Pico Day flash didn't look great animation wise it still had some epic feel to it with the music and the few scenes it did show so it's something to look out for in the future but anyways good luck on it man. =)

Hey, thanks for the review! You are right about the animation, the intro part is actually the intro cutscene for the game, I was looking for that kinda "comic book" style animation. The graphics will be better in the final version though. Glad you enjoyed it!
