getting better

like it alot, liked the original feel of story and the animations. and i saw that my dad was the the narrator and general. when did you get time to have him do a voice over?

The drawing overall was very awesome, but there are parts which are of a slightly lower quality which detract from the flash in total; some of the backgrounds definitely needed more detail, in this aspect. In the same way, the animation in general is really top-notch, but there were some parts what seemed a little choppier than they needed to be, such as when you had the armymen 'charging' towards the main character, where it kinda looked more like it was flicking between two frames a little too much; but maybe that's just me. Though I really liked the ending scene, where the drawing style changes just as the axe starts coming down on the guy's head, because that felt really artistic and rounded off the cliffhanger nicely.

I think like most people, I had trouble hearing the voices. Just turning up the voice level in this would have been so much help because most of the time I couldn't decipher what they were saying. And/or having some sort of closed caption options, so those of us with messed-up hearing can at least read what's being said. That aside, I really like the stereo image you made, and the sound effects/music choices in general were all very nicely done.

Overall, this was a really good flash; definitely deserves a higher score than it has, but I definitely think that if you flicked the voices up a little next time around (as well as not having such an interval in between them :P) it'd pretty much be perfect.

Good flash, but voices are too quiet

Sadly I didn't see chapter one of this, so I don't really know what to think of the story. It's a bit confusing for me. Who's fighting who and even more important, WHY are they fighting?

The graphics are pretty good here. Sometimes they look a bit bland, but overall they are fine. Just like in some old animes.

Animations are decent as well. Sometimes they are a bit rough (for example when the army is running up towards that guy in the middle), but most of the time they look fluent.

However, the voices need to be much louder. I couldn't barely understand a thing when the characters talked, yet I could hear the music and sound effects just fine. So yeah, turn up the volume of the voices.

I really don't know why this doesn't have a score of 4.00+. It's extremely well done, and only has a few small defects here and there. It shows you worked a long time on it, so excellent job!

The graphics overall are fantastic. Characters were drawn well, and the plants and surroundings were great. Unfortunately, there are some parts which seem a little sloppy or sketchy, such as some of the backgrounds. Animation was excellent though. I'm not really that experienced at animation, but I think the animation was well done and looked smooth and great. I especially like the camera in this.

Unfortunately, like Fro, I didn't watch Chapter 1 and I have no time at all to go and see it too, so maybe I'm missing out on some of the story here, but I really couldn't get a grasp of what was going on. Maybe it was the lack of voices narrating the story, maybe it was just because I didn't watch Chapter 1. Maybe you could add a main menu where you can choose some stuff such as 'The Story So Far' where it shows you importants parts of Chapter 1 so you can easily know what's going on in this chapter. Given the length of the submission, a scene-selection won't hurt either.

The sound effects and music were fantastic. The background music sounded great yet didn't interfere with the story, and the sound effects were extremely good. Still, the voices, on the other hand, aren't so good. The voices were really quiet, and I had to turn the volume up pretty high to hear them, and the problem with that is that the sound effects and music were just the right volume, so not only did I hear the voices properly with very high volume, but the sound effects were really loud too. Long story short, I think the voices need to be much louder. I would compliment your use of stereo, but unfortunately I'm deaf from one ear and can only hear mono, so yeah, I can't say anything about the stereo :P.

Overall the submission was fantastic, and I'm really surprised as to why it's only 3.99. Really good job, the only problems would be the sloppy graphics here and there, the quiet voices and the fact that this story is so hard to grasp.

Nice.

I really liked the movie, it's a very nice piece, and it has it beauty (only in the beggining), because the rest of the movie was very nice... I liked the action, the blood and the art of the movie, I tought it was great, the art and animation was very nice, too, because it's very hard to make a movie like this...

I liked the Quentin Tarantino style of movie, also, I liked the enemy count when the black guy killed someone. But I just think that you could used a bit more of action, since the man killed a lot of people with that foot thing, that wasn't nice, since you have potential to animate a bit more of kills...

The voices and sound were great, I liked the screams and the back song in the final of the movie, it really fitted with the movie concept, the chinese theme was awesome, you made a great work here, congrats.

The movie was nice, but I just think you could added more action and the beggining of the movie wasn't well animated, I just think you could improved that. Keep it up with the good work, man, I want to see more from you.
