"In this Monochrome World, I will search the depths of the earth and the endless skies for
you. No mountain nor sea, nor thing in this world, could keep us apart. Because this is not
my world... you are. I would face any horror and overcome my Darkest Fears just to hear your
voice before I go to sleep. All I want for Christmas is to have you in my arms, Because when
we are together time seems to slow down, as if Fate wanted it to be like this forever.
Through the Darkness of the world, when the lights were fading, and the dreams dying, you
walked in and Coloured my Heart... I love you."
-Silver Stitch, the Coloured Poet
I'll be the first to admit it, when I found this and realized the finale to the Colour series was a movie and not a game, I was more than a little miffed. I felt that no non-interactive experience could possibly finish off the Colour series in a satisfying way.
After watching this multiple times, any shred of a doubt has been eliminaed.
As a critic, I thrive when I receive negative responses to my reviews, because it gives me an excuse to once again say "You don't understand how opinions work." But... -sigh- ...what I have experienced through the Colour series has rocked me to my very core. I simply cannot find anything to critique in this series.
As a person who has problems in school and self-esteem, this series has pushed me to tears multiple times. Because I saw everything I hoped to one day be reflected in it. It's a masterpiece that teaches you how to be happy in your life and be optimistic, even when things get tough. Through this series, I have learned what love means, how happiness can come into your life, why you should fight to make that happen, and how a little bit of Colour can help you achive those dreams.
This is my favorite Multi-Platform Flash series of all time, and I think it should be evident why.
Thank you, Silver Stitch, or as I call you, The Coloured Poet.
"Explore your Dreams, Free your Heart, Control your fate, Colour your World."
