Hey NG I just wanted to see what you guys think of this animation I made using particles and AS2 please leave feedback on performance (check in Task Manager if you have time!) and let me know if you think it looks cool, I read ALL feedback!

It's only 11kb so no preloader, and don't wait for the end because it lasts forever! :)

P.S. If you REALLY have time, let me know the CPU usage and some computer specs! That would be amazingly helpful, you have no idea :]

neat

Looks pretty cool I guess, would be cool to use it as a visualizer for a music player or something.

9-13% CPU
AMD Phenom II x4 965 Processor 3.4o GHz

In task manager, IE was using around 55,000K memory.

Hope this helps.

I've got a pretty new computer, built it myself.

JoUBG responds:

I'll dig this back up to see if I can make a visualizer with the engine. Thank's for taking the time to give me that information. ^_^

Uhm..

Make a tutorial of how to make these and Ill vote 10 :D

JoUBG responds:

That would take about a year :)

Pretty Sweet

Most of the time when someone uploads a 10 KB file it's total crap, but I think this one looked really cool. It's never the same twice so even though it's a loop, it doesn't get boring as soon as it repeats.

Pretty cool

good animation, hypnotised me in a way :). on my laptop it uses about 47%cpu average (macbook white, 2.1ghz, 2gb ram, 144mb Intel GMA X3100 graphics)

JoUBG responds:

Thanks for the performance info!! :D

I love it!

It looks great, and surprisingly the animation is very smooth. The colors are hypnotically attractive, and the patterns are wonderful, I like this very much.

Also, did some groundwork - takes about 5MB of memory and minimized, it takes from 48-53% CPU. Not minimized, it goes up to 75-87% CPU. But that's because my machine is a tad antiquated, CPU is AMD Sempron 3100+ 1.81GHz x2. GPU is nVidia GeForce 6150SE. 1GB ram. So if it performs well on mine (and it does!) then I'm pretty sure it will work for anyone, except maybe people using those old Intel chipsets.

JoUBG responds:

Thanks for the details! That's extremely helpful feedback :D
