Draw a line in the given grids and make sure the line doesn't intersect with itself. After this only operation, all the grids on the line flip - the original white grids become black, while the original black ones become white. The goal of the game is to make all the grids on every horizontal line in the same color - either black or white. If you are not sure how to play, check the instructions in the game, a video is included.

All levels (more than 10,000!!!) are made and submitted by fellow Blackflip players, and are solvable in at least one way. Using the level creator, you can create a puzzle as large as 13 squares wide or high. But before you can submit any near-impossible hoo-haw, just remember that for a puzzle to be listed on the site, you have to prove it's beatable by being the first to solve it! As a bonus, you can link to your own puzzles on your website with the provided tags. Your game process will be saved automatically.

If you think the game is too hard, try ordering the puzzles by difficulty using the the pulldown menu in the upper right corner. Start with some easy ones before playing the really hard ones created by pro players.

Click the preview of puzzles with your right mousebutton for extended options!

Blackflip is tribute to Polarium for the Nintendo DS made by Mitchell Corporation. So thank them
for the original game principle!

woot, i love it

one of the best polarium clones i've played so far! i love the possibility to submit puzzles and send them to my friends! great job!

Hmmm

I love the game, it is fun and addicting, I spend a good half an hour or so playing but... it is hard to find new puzzles... with so many people making pictures instead of puzzles (which are unsolvable) it makes it a waste of time finding a real puzzle.

flaboratorium responds:

ALL of the puzzles/pictures are solvable because you can only add puzzles if you are able to solvethem by yourself. you can always have a look at the solution by pressing the "solution" button underneath the puzzle (it gets activated after your first try of solving it by yourself) maybe you just have to think harder if you stumble upon a puzzle that seems unsolvable :D or just order the puzzles by difficulty by using the pull down menu in the upper right corner.

dude this type of game is older than nintendo ^_^

anyways great game man, really like how you put levels from other people.. altough in a few weeks/months there will probably be like a million of them lol

flaboratorium responds:

thanks... and yes i hope so :D

Awesome, but... where's the credit?

This is just like the DS game Polarium

No credit given, ripped off, GG...

Awesome though that it's on newgrounds, but sorry man, give credit where it's due :|

flaboratorium responds:

have a look in the about section of the game to find the credits for polarium. anyway i will edit the game information on newgrounds and add the tribute to polarium, just forgot to put it there.

dont mind zintendo. hes just trying to look smart

great game by the way. it makes you really think.

flaboratorium responds:

thanks, thinking is the purpose of this game. just gain 10 inches in brain size by playing it daily :D
