Win95 minimal design
Totally lifeless, lacks all style and atmosphere. The first few Win95 games were just like that. Zombie music and cheap design make this great idea sort of wasted.

Pong Invaders is a simple action-arcade game inspired by old classics like Pong, Breakout and Space Invaders. It started its life as a simple tutorial for me to learn AS3. But as I worked on it I got some ideas to expand on the gameplay and it turned into a somewhat original game.
This isn't my best work yet, but I hope it can entertain you for a few lost minutes between chores.
Play your way through 10 levels by bouncing back the ball and shooting your opponent.
- Move the mouse to steer your ship.
- Click the left mousebutton to fire a rocket.

Thanks for the reviews guys. I can agree on the points you all mentioned. This is just a first attempt to put something I made online. I do have some better games in the pipeline.
At least now I know there is some interest in the concept. So working on a graphically and auditorially improved part 2 might be worthwhile.

but the music is braindead & background is copyed by googleEarth. Sry but you could do this better.
Dull and Repetitive
The game has potential, but the constant looping, and having to try and play pong while shooting etc if kinda hard, maybe if added some better music, backgrounds, it would be nice to be able to move the bar with the Up Left Right Down keys, but the mouse is okay I guess. Maybe place the ammo somewhere where we can see it. Good Idea, Great Potential, Bad Idea.
Pretty good
Most of the points are on creativity. It's kind of original, a nice combo of games. But it got boring rather quickly. Maybe because it's kind of slow (the bullet movement is a nice mechanic but kinda hard to aim with)
I'm sorry but I couldn't really say exactly WHAT you need to add :-P I'll be keeping an eye out for version 2 though!

I belive it's pretty good but doh it got a little borind even though it's cool and the changes are pretty neet
