Alright, so the "animation" is crappy". The lines are thick, there's no background music, and what the hell is wrong with Sandy's left arm? But it still gets quite a few laughs from the people I show it to.
This was my final project for my second year of Computer Graphics with Mr. Vina at Palmetto Ridge High School. There was a strict time limit to complete the project, which explains the numerous movement "tweens" and other noticeable errors.
Also, no one will think this is funny unless they have watch both Spongebob and the original The Shining movie. Even then, it's likely to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Hooray for self depreciation!

so if im reading the ending generic right, being paid for this would make you do better?...makes sense...

Hmm? Not exactly sure what you mean. I never said that if I was getting paid, this flash would be better. To be sure, I might have taken more time on it, but no one would ever even consider paying me for my meager talents.

Shining plus spongebob great idea.
THe humor is there but it drops off from there sadly. I loved spongebobs killer face when he broke through sandy's.
The animation and drawings could be improved and the story could be lengthened.
Presonally I believe if you are able to, go in on your spare time and improve the flash and this would become something great.
I didn't find this funny at all.
Not trying to be a dick, I'm sure you did some decent work on this. However if the animation had been better... or maybe if it wasn't just random sound clips strung together that didn't fit well it may have been better. However I really don't care for spongebob in the first place so that could very well be the reason I didn't care for it. Another thing you could do is add a end and replay button. Because as I type this out I get to hear him screaming I'm ready about 100 times....

You should use the skills you got for something ummmm..... "BETTER" like Mario or something like that. And trust me you will get a better rating.

Uh, I don't see how doing something for Mario would automatically make my movie better. What will get me better ratings is doing better animation, not pandering to the video game audience (although the current flash I'm working on is a parody of Poke'mon).
Besides, seasons 1-3 of Spongebob were kickass. It was only after the movie, when Stephen Hillenburg left, that the show started to suck.
Anyways, thanks for the review.
