Needs more work

This is an okay attempt at a sprite movie. I liked how you mixed serveral sprites together here and none of them where Mario, Luigi, Sonic or Tails, heh.
That Skeleton was from Golden Axe, right? And well, the soldiers and that guy with the long hairs are from Metal Slug, no doubt about that.

The spirtes look good here and you made good use of them. The killings look pretty realistic, those things can look very bad if they aren't timed correctly.
When the skeleton acted dead however it didn't look as if it was lying on the floor. Instead it was standing on it's feet, back bend backwards. So a little more work here is needed.

The biggest flaw where the speech bubbles. Sometimes they wheren't even big enough to take up all the text, so the text appeared beneath the bubble.
And in the beginning there still was the "Press" command visible behind the text. Those things can easily be avoided and if you don't notice them already while creating the flash you should watch it at least once after you finished and before you upload it to correct these very visible mistakes.

Review:

Animation and Graphics
Sprites have, over time, become the new sticks. Everyone thinks they can do it, but few can. This is an okay attempt, but not great.

Audio
Could really do with some voices and SFX, but the music was actually pretty good.

Story and Concept
A little flat. And by that I mean, it's a little simple, a little boring. Not a lot happening, no twists, no surprises. It's a decent plot, but not of great or good quality.

Conclusion
I'd like to say that there is potential here. This seems like some sort of sketch for a movie. There is a lot too be done, but the basics are here, and it really mostly needs some fine-tuning.

Didn't impress me too much.

It's OK, but nothing really too special, and it didn't impress me that much.

The animation was what really put the score down. It didn't look that amazing, the characters jerked up and down too much, the walking seemed strange, and some parts like as Fro said, the guy was shooting some blue thing, the character wasn't on the ground. The graphics on the other hand were great for pixel art, the characters look good, and the backgrounds were awesome.

The story wasn't bad, and it kept me watching till the end, but TBH, it was a little boring. I lost track of the story quite quickly - probably because I didn't want the first one, but you should add 'The Story So Far' that plays at the beginning, where there are subtitles at the bottom saying briefly what happened while showing the important bits that were in the first flash. Also, the speech bubbles got annoying and in the way, the second speech bubble that appeared had 'press' written on it and then what the guy was saying on it as well, and they just overlapped each other looking strange, and towards the end, where the old guy said that he should take them to camp, the text was longer than the rectangle and 'camp' wasn't in the box.

The music was very good, but it was kind of strange after the first song played and straight afterwards an entirely different song played. Other than that, it was OK, but some more sound effects are needed.

In all, not really something that impressed me a lot. This needs a little more work in it, especially animation-wise, but the graphics and audio over here wasn't bad. Oh, and I had to laugh at Insanimation's 'You have the bare BONES of a good movie', lol :D.

Eeeeh..

Art/Animation: 2/10
Sprites are renowned for being one of the easiest methods of animating. However, you didn't even do them very well. The running sequences were not synced and there was no weight to it, often when they were standing around, they were jerking about the screen, and it just looked poor. The timing was also pretty bad. Everything went too slowly for my liking.

Plot/Concept: 5/10
It was an interesting enough story...Not much plot or subplot or anything to make a properly decent flash, but enough to provide a bit of humour and keep me interested..

Audio/Music: 5/10
A few more sound effects, and possibly a bit of voice would be nice..The music was quite good though, building up well.

Overall: 4/10
You have the bare bones of a good movie, but a lot of work needs to be put into the animation side of it. Good luck.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

For the most part the sprites were animated well. There was one spot where the old man was shooting and his feet didn't really touch the ground, which stuck out like a sore thumb and there was also a part where the man was dragging the skeleton and other guy around, which looked very odd. I wasn't sure if he was suppose to be physically dragging them, which would be very hard to represent with the sprites that you used or if he was using some sort of magic force. If he was doing the later then you should have used some sort of animation or graphic to represent this force.

~ Story/Content ~

I agree with Coop below me that you should have had a subtitle bar at the bottom of the screen instead of having it in the way of the animation itself. Keeping the button would be a good idea as it was nice to be able to read at our own pace and then go on with the movie.

I hadn't watched your other submission and I don't know if it's a prequel to this or not, but honestly this one was sort of random. Plot could be worked into something pretty good though and I could see this moving in the right direction in the next submission.

~ Audio ~

I think voices could have worked here, but the subtitle bar would have worked just as good in this case. Music and sound effects were perfectly fine as well.

~ Overall ~

Good sprite work except for a couple of parts and a workable plot.
