Places from Metroid 4: Fusion, brings back memories. But just two things! One, too short. Two why the heck is 8-bit Samus Aran there. If you were following the events of of Fusion then there was already a sprite for Samus Aran-X!

Hardcore Metroid fans may not want to watch this. This is my first submission. I made it in two days (which was all the time that I had), trying my best to get some quality work out of it. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. You decide. I didn't add a preloader this time, sorry. I will next time, though.
This is a project that I did for a summer Flash Web Design class. They decided to cast a ballot to see who did the best. This won in two categories:
First place in the "Professional-Looking" category,
And "Best overall" Category.
So, watch, and (hopefully) enjoy.
Oh, and a fat guy in the same class made a flash animation that tied in the "Funny" Category, with one of my submissions tying for first. Something about Nazi Zombies. Guess it got blammed.
Music and Audio SFX recorded using audio jacks. Metroid is a registered copyright of Nintendo. This is solely a FAN BASED MOVIE.

For a short amount of time that was pretty good. Plot twists... argh! Also I have crappy eyesight, try making it bigger :D
Great start
The only problem I have with this flash is that the movie is too small. Otherwise it's a great start to a potential series.
Fun idea
Hopefully you'll be able to take this much further. I'd like to see Fusion Samus end up on Planet Zebes with old Samus.
Kinda boring.
Not really much story behind it, and there's no dialogue. It looks like someone just went through the run and jump cycles of a spritesheet and called it a movie. The animation is decent, so if you keep that up, you can make something good of this, but as for now it's short and there's really nothing to this other than two Samues running around for no apparent reason.
Also, I think this often, but never said it until now: ADD A FUCKING PRELOADER!
It pisses me off to no end for something to just cut in and freeze seconds later because it isn't fully loaded. Both movies and games I have seen are guilty of this. It makes the whole thing a lot less smooth.
