I'm finally done with this flash animation! It's short because I ran out of ideas. If I get more, I might make another flash.

Even in one of the NG tutorials it says the Mario getting killed by the pole is overused. Come up with something more original. Maybe like a random sprite shark floating in mid-air biting off mario's head or something, or luigi dressed up in a tux with machine guns and a toadXkoopa posse shooting up mario! You are welcome to use those ideas but I'm just saying that this one is overused.
not a bad idea but...
Could use some work lengthening the video as well as a lot of polish:
1) make the animation smoother. it feel very choppy, like it's sitting around 10FPS.
2) More variety to the scenes; you have 3 mishaps and 2 of which he gets cut in half.
3) More scenes. 3 scenes is kind of short, possibly 5 or 6, or (if keeping with only 3 scenes), make the mishaps longer.
