This would be my first submission into Newgrounds and I've got to say it's not too too bad. It's a simple flash game I'd made on Adobe Flash CS3 using sprite sheets that I'd found off the web copyright of Capcom of course. The audio and visual were all internet based and none were of my own. I know it's not a great game but it's a good start though comment as you must. I hope you guys enjoy the few moments of playing this and I hope for myself to put more flash related items up soon.

UPDATE: 06/19/09
-- I probably won't be doing anymore flash games for awhile rather I'll be practicing as a voice actor OR trying to work on just straight animated flash movies using sprites. I seemed better at that rather than actually going for coding of the game though thank you to all of you who were truely honest. Even I know myself that the game wasn't top notch but I did give it a go at programming. It just seems like too much. Maybe this time I can do something right.

neat.also its frustrating to start all over again.

Needs work.

There were a few problems with the mechanics of the game. First, the hit/jump detection was very iffy. I found myself falling through the ground a lot. Secondly, there was a HUGE delay in when I would hit the attack button and when zero actually attacked. That needs some definite fixing. and the sprites seemed to be way too small. I thought that I needed binoculars to see zero let alone the enemies. However the storyline, music and sound effects were all on par. It's a great game for your first submission. Keep working and I'm sure that you'll get it.

Great effort

I'm a fan for Megaman games, and this pretty much satisfied some of it.
Graphics are really ok, there is room for improvement though. Same goes for animation as well.
Music was great too, there was nice variety. However, there is room for more, such as a sad light tune when he dies, or the climatic music that plays when you're facing a boss.
Gameplay was a bit buggy though, and needs to be fixed. The attack should be more accurate, because it didn't hit when it should have.
Story was okay, it's obvious that you've spent some time on it. However, the intro was pretty good, but confusing because there wasn't enough animation to show what had happened.

Five for effort and a good attempt

Well it really isn't bad for a first submission. I haven't made anything myself, I just tend to give input. The controls were about as good as a flash platformer really tends to get. Animation, well it was sprites so no points one way or the other there. The main thing I didn't care for was the way you had to do something of a hold and release for the beam saber. But this is just due to how I play platformers like this. Overall this isn't bad but nothing too impressive at the saem time. Though I would like to see what else you do. Don't let any negative comments stop you from submitting, this wasn't as bad as some people could make it out to be in a while.

not so bad

you must progress more, keep going, everyone is bad at the begining, you are not so bad, so keep improving. The story was great, the animation was bad, but not really bad, it is just a newbie bad
