I thought the book was pretty good, its pretty confusing cuz the whole time you ask yourself wtf is the point of this story? I kind of took it as a statement to the fact that the future and fate is unchangeable, even though this guy knew exactly what was going to happen, he couldn't change anything like stop the war from happening.
Intriguing
Makes me want to go read the book, actually. The blink-like flash produces a curious effect, like interrupted time...
