Was told to pick an old school game and emulate it, kinda. (probably not the right word...)
Pokemon was my choice.
So... second flash ever, first actual completed flash movie.

this cant even be called a flash all he did was rip a video he recorded of him playing pokemon on a gameboy emulator then converted the recording to a .swf !

Um... actually, no, I DIDN'T just rip it. If you look carefully, everything has been meticulously cut out, and are actually being moved on their own. You'll notice that some of the items aren't even rasterized? Also, many key noises are missing. ALSO, the timing isn't perfect, and the writing isn't in the right spot for some of it due to me finding a font that matched the Pokemon in game font and trying to get it as close as possible. Yeah. No. Not a rip. This Actually took 3 days to put together.
But if it looks like a rip, that's one hell of a compliment!
By the way, I'm a SHE, not a he.

If your gonna make a flash remake of a pokemon battle, then have fun with it, make it different characters or people, and give them whacky attacks. eg. Barack Obama vs John Mccain (or something more recent)

I will when I have time for that. Right now I'm in school and the only flash I have time to get my hands on is school assignments. Don't worry, I won't send everything here, because not all of it is NG worthy. But this was long enough and content filled enough for me to get what I needed out of it - feedback. :)

ok, sure it was nostalgic, but what was the point
It was nice to see that part of my childhood again, but what was the point after the one battle. Put this on youtube for nostalgia purposes. otherwise, It just kinda...sucks here on newgrounds. its not funny, not violent, not original. so not right for newgrounds. but thanks for the flashback i guess.

Why does something have to be violent to have a purpose somewhere? Newgrounds has a different purpose for everyone. It's purpose for me is to see something new, experience things I've never experienced before, and share it with whoever cares to watch. This may not be the most original thing ever, but this is what I can do RIGHT NOW and for me to be able to do something this well this soon is an accomplishment I'd like to share. I am sharing so that I may improve. Newgrounds isn't just for entertainment, it's for learning and experiencing more, sharing our skills. Someday I will have something more creative than this, but right now this is all I have to learn from. Relax. And maybe open up a little.

But with some funny edits you could make something awesome and new, or else at least make it longer, also lol you trained to Lv30 vs. Surge. I barely got into the late 20s before pwning him
