First Impressions

This has the potential to be a really great game. (I should note now to take what I say here with a grain of salt, as I only played the first stage, but felt it deserved a review.)
The look of the game was really nice, but it suffered from some slowdown issues.
The music was mellow and understated--perfect for blasting up those creatures without feeling too lethargic or too frantic. It was an excellent choice. (One whose title I would like to know. ;3 )
And, though I may have missed this part, having only played the first stage, but this game could REALLY benefit from a storyline and/or selectable characters with different bullet patterns/play styles.
All in all, though: this looks like a great game, and I've added it to my favorites in hopes of seeing future improvements.
