Did you even bother to go back and check your work here? It says in the in-game instructions that "a" is for shooting and "s" is for jumping. It's realy the other way around. I find errors like this inexcusable. It's the product of rushing the game out without bothering to proofread. Same with the stars in the game. The screen says collect the stars for a bonus at the end of the level. Yet you get points just by collecting them. Furthermore the game is far too slow for the mood that I assume you were going for. Holding the up arrow key provides minimal speed gain. It also would have helped to have been able to hold the "s" key down for coninuous fire as tapping it while trying to jump is akward and clumsy, especially on those pits that have enemies over them. Colliding with green pylons for powerups isn't natural. The natural response in a game like this is to avoid obstacles so it just seems off. They should have been scattered throughout the playfield like the stars. Lastly, it should have been clear when a level was beaten. There's NO indication that you beat a level until the new level pops onto the screen.
Don't be so concerned about making money off of your games. With all due respect a game with blatant errors, incorrect instructions and bland gameplay doesn't deserve to earn you money.

The money I got for that game wasn't much, and I do realise it has errors. Each star gives you 50 when collected and 2000 at end, but I should have made it more clear. Holding up gives you double normal speed. About the pylon hitting and gameplay in general - it's a clone of 3D World Runner for the NES.
This is my first game, I got better with time, check my other game - Hungry Shapes.
This game is an awesome remake of 3d World Runner which sometime is lost as one of the best games ever. Loved the levels, layouts, and the music. Good for you!

Wow, Raitendo responded to my game :). Well, I really had much fun doing this game, but the sponsorship money wasn't too great, so I am now doing box2d puzzles hoping to get more cash :)
But I wish you success with retro-game-making! If I was to do this game again, I'd probably use a 3d engine (sandy as opposed to away3d, papervsion, and alternativa3d).

This is hands down the best game ever! I still play it. It's just unique - graphics and everything. I love it!
