Use the left and right arrow keys to controll the direction of Mr Cubey.
To move forward press the forward key.
To increase forward speed hold down the forward key.
To move backwards press the backwards key.
To increase backwards speed hold the backwards key.
Press spacebar to fire missile.
You will not be able fire angain untill the missile has re-loaded.
This will only take a moment.
Kill the Rhomboids by shooting them.
Colliding with the rhomboids will cost you 1 life.
You have 3 lives.

Mr Cubey can only face 8 different directions, and steering him can be difficult, I would recomend a light touch on the keyboard.
pretty easy game really tho.
will hopefully be releasing rhomboids II soon, will fix the steering by putting in a v-short delay between turning, add more lvls, more enemy types, power ups, and make it a bit harder.
Updated this version of Shape-O-Roids. Fixed a bug where the mouse pointer appears in-game on the left edge of the screen.

But the freak turns too damn fast! It's nearly impossible to aim. Also it archieves max. speed too fast, so it brakes too quickly, making the game too easy.
More enemies would add variety too the game :]

Not too bad.
Not incredibly interesting but somewhat addicting. The only thing I think SHOULD be changed is the turning speed. Its really hard to aim at anything with how fast Mr. Cubey spins.
there were
... too many unroginal, uninspired asteroids knock offs years ago already. Truly -- and I don't mean to be a dick by saying this because even what you have here takes alot of effort -- asteroids is so passe now unless the graphics are fantastic or the gameplay has an original twist. And even then its so cliched.
Also, I hated the controls. I want up to move up, left left, right right, and down down. Don't make it more complex than need be.

It shows potential, but you seriously need to work on the controlls. It's almost impossible to move the block around the screen where you want him to go. and the shooting is too slow as well.
Don't give up on it though, you could have a real gem on your hands.

i liked it . it was very simple. the only problem is the one you mentioned about the steering, but that could be resolved by a lower FPS.
