This is a little project I've worked on for a couple of days. I challenged myself to remake Fishy, and I did! Super thanks to Cojones893 and knugen for making this game possible!
Changes: The fish are scaled to your size. That means no fish will be unreasonably big or small, and that there will always be fish big enough to eat you. Also, there are only 10 enemy fish on the field at one time. Unlike the original Fishy, this is an arcade-styled survival game. There is no winning. For the record, you still grow in this version, but much, much slower. Unlike the original Fishy that gets easier as time progresses, this version gets progressively harder as you have less space with which to maneuver but fish will always be able to eat you.

No offence....but....That sucked, not the worst game on here tho O.o. It's annoying, hard, and I agree, looks like condoms with eyes. Great try at a game, but don't put 2 days into 1 put 2 WEEKS into it try again...it's just too much, and disapointing, at least better then i could do but still. If your gonna post it, put a LOT more work into it.
I have spent time on my games; the reason I didn't spend more time with this game was because I didn't need to. I hadn't set a time goal for myself, I was just creating it naturally. It's only as annoying as the real Fishy anyway, and your complaint about the difficulty is invalid; the game starts of easier and becomes harder, like a real game should, because you grow but the screen size doesn't. Besides, it's a survival game; calling it easy or hard doesn't even make sense unless it's relative to someone else's score.

Controls are shoddy. Music isn't good. U NEED POWERUPS
The controls are supposed to be a bit uneven. You need to plan ahead before jamming on full throttle on that arrow key.
If you don't like the music, deal. Everyone has a different taste.
I didn't add powerups because I didn't want to. I'm the Flash artist. I call the shots.

I think this is a good start, but it needs a lot of work. A LOT of work..
First of all, animate the fish. Add some style to your work, don't settle for what's easy to render. Go the extra mile in character design. The second I saw all of the fish, in their flat colors and static animations, I got extremely bored.
I would reconsider the background track you use, or at least give players the option of changing the music. That song became annoying in about 3 seconds.
I would also add more to the game play. For example, add some powerups, items, different kinds of enemies. There should also be a level progression.
Like I said before, this is a good start! It just needs a LOT of work.

Like Fishy, and like this remix, the whole point of the gameplay was its simplicity. I wanted to hide the complexity of the script with the simplicity of the gameplay, and from your review, I can tell that it worked!
