Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Yay, it got through! Please elect it for the Mortal Kombat collection.

*Note - I know it lags right at the beginning*
Mortal Kombat is boring. I've only ever played it twice, and the second time it got worse. So I made this.

Will reply to every comment.

I thinnk got a brillian idea, pretty funny and love the voices!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

"with 50 unique characters!"

I enjoyed playing Mortal Kombat and it was great when it first came out, but that doesn't mean I can't take a joke about it. The second one was good as well, but the repetitiveness was there, as you pointed out (love the visuals). I enjoyed this being done as a parody ad. I also have to give props for AYBABTU, which suprisingly NO ONE has pointed out yet on the reviews. Any reference to Zero Wing makes me smile.

<deleted> responds:

Thanks :D It's good to see somebody noticed the AYB Joke. I'm thinking I might do a couple more of these parody ads and see what people make of them.

what?????

was there a point that was boring

<deleted> responds:

no thar was no point hur hur lol

Yeah...

That's all pretty much true.

Some of the biggest annoyances of the 2D generation couldn't really be helped, though. The reason that Mortal Kombat had so damn many pallet-swaped ninjas was because of memory limitations. That's pretty much all you can do when your fans clamor for more playable characters than you can realistically have.

And, yeah, plotlines used in those games did tend to be short and lacked detail. But, considering that half of the people bitch when there is too much plot and the other half bitches when there's not enough, it was more economical for the game developer to err on the side that would free up game space.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I know why the plot had to be reduced, but they could have made it so much better. It's kind of fighting for the sake of fighting! I'm just poking fun at whoever it was that thought up such an unoriginal concept.

Sounds about right.

Yeah, that sounds like the formula for alot of fighting games these days. Nothing original, just more of the same crap. Nice. Your voice acting could use some improvement though.

<deleted> responds:

Thanks! The speech I'm using is just my normal voice edited in Audacity. I'm no Egoraptor.
