I was given Flash last week by a friend. School is out and if I didn't have something to make an animation with I would have gone nuts. Usually I make stuff with After Effects, or with MAX/MSP/JITTER. Installation stuff, or movies.
In either case, I got bored two days ago and I started drawing Elmo. I don't have a wacom tablet, and I'm left handed. But using the mouse in my right hand freed me from any real style constraints. I had to relearn how to do everything. It was liberating. I made a still image in Flash and I animated it. I didn't spend a long time on the animation, but drawing Elmo took like 6 hours. It's kind of short and retarded, but I just wanted to submit SOMETHING to Newgrounds considering I come here all the time.
This is my first submission. Just a short 2 day project.

I dug the whole puppet as a puppeteer thing, and you really do have a good point, television even the good educational type childeren show, does bear a form of control over the social development of children. it look like this is your first flash here, but hopefully you will make more.

Yeah, it's a tangent I'm willing to explore. I really want to sit down and spend more than two days on a flash. I guess I kind of rushed this just to put something up, but at least I'm getting the message across. Thanks for the review.
