Well...

The ship was pretty slow despite the numerous power ups I've consumed, the colors really hurt my eyes, and the enemies freaked me out a little bit, the menu lied to me, and I have no clue which power up does what, but you know what? That's okay. It was all retro arcade style like and even when I am bored enough to pick up my GBASp, the colors on Pokemon hurts my eyes, too. So, points for bringing back stuff like that(even if I'm not that old) but there's this glitch on the second level where the second boss goes off screen and I can't shoot him, it would be cool to actually know what makes what more powerful.
All I figured is the P sphere makes your bullets stronger, ^ apparently makes more bullets, S makes the ship go somewhat faster and don't ask what the skull does, I have no clue. But points for effort, something this site has been lacking lately. Kudos.

Okay.

I can see that there was effort put into this, so obviously that gets you some points.:]
What I don't like is that it's a little bit too easy to beat, seeing as there are only two levels. Also it gets a little repetitive.
But I like that the graphics look nice without being too worked on to the point where they're just annoying. I also like the sound effects.
It's pretty good overall; definite potential.:D

But it needs some improving, the controls aren't even listed right in the menu. It said cursor to move while actually being arrow keys. Also, avoiding enemies can be challenging, the "spaceship" reacts relatively slow to movement. The firing was good after the upgrades, with some work, it would be a good game :D
