Clay In Clothes

Another Claego claymation long in the making. This film is very special to me. The reason why is because i feel like i worked on it a lot harder than the other ones I've made, and i made this one in 25 fps rather than 15 like I always do. I apoligize for the not-so-perfect quality but i hope you like it anyway. Anyway, to the claymation:

A clay-guy decides he needs to put on some clothes, then stuff happens! Enjoy!

Fun. :)

nice

You do have better claymations but this is a good one. CAnt wait to see your next one

cool

Hey cool claymation I liked the beatles reference. 25 fps is alot of pictures! What program did you use for the actual picture taking? I do claymation too and I use a freeware program I found called "stop motion animator". You should check it out sometime if you haven't. Good luck on all your videos!

Claego responds:

Thanks I'm glad you liked it. :)

I use a program recomended by Knox called "Monkeyjam" and it works fine (except you have to save and start a new project at like 6135 frames or something but that doesn't really matter) I use a legocam that i got in a special edition lego set a while back called lego studios. the webcam hooks right up to monkeyjam and i can start taking pics right away. I'll watch some of your claymations now

Loved it

the movement, the story with no point. Awesome!

needs more

it was pretty good and it takes a special kind of person to be able to make good claymations/stopframe animations but you'v just doing whats been done before, your doing it well enought to move up a step i think, i mean try modle some more detailed characters, try looking at chickenrun, all their characters are build in a specific way, give them some eyes and a nose.. and yeah some clothes =) it'll end up being alot more work and a hell of a challenge but in the end it'll be worth it =) and then you better yourself. I also like that it had a humorous plotline but yeah i feel that you can do alot more with the clay, and bigger more exaurated movments =) goodluck and i look forward to seeing somthing really cool =)
