Edit: Shit! I'm sorry, but I guess you're only allowed two submissions per day! I guess I'll submit the last part tomorrow... Shoulda thought of that, sorry everyone.

Wow. What to say about this project. I have been constantly frustrated, held up and obsessed with it. And now, when I look at it, I see 100 things I could've done better. On the other hand, I've learn so much from it, and have positive feelings about it too. It just took a long time. :D...

I'm sorry I had to break it up into three pieces, I'll try to keep the next one together. Although each piece is about 3 min long which is not bad at all, so please take that as a consolation. Don't forget to look for the easter egg, which is an extras zone.

All comments are read and appreciated. The goal of this series is for me to constantly improve with each episode, so if you have constitutive favoritism, I'd love to hear it. (especially with actionscripting or backgrounds) I've already started updating the graphics for the next episode (see hidden extras section) and I know I have to work on timing. Those are the main problems.

Yeah, look for that extras zone, because I actionscripted it all myself, like a big girl. lol.

to jackbz

this isn't a flame, so don't worry, i know that you can have your opinions, but i found the health loss thing charmingly funny. Although to add some criticism it slightly detracts from the seriousness of the seen. I still enjoyed it

Same strengths and faults as the last one

Good dialogue (liked the scene when they were trying to free the guy from the rubble) and animation, but the cinematography was poor, though better than last time (such as the camera rotation). There's more to being visually interesting than good drawings, or even good animation. I definitely like this though.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I'm not a fan of the numbers thing, such as when they're losing health. I know it happens in the games, but in this cartoon, I dunno...just not a fan. It doesn't hurt the score, but I doubt it would actually make anyone enjoy it more. Yeah. I say take it with a grain of salt because it's just my opinion and others might disagree, and also because it doesn't hurt the movie. Just thought I'd say.

Also, I don't see the point in splitting episodes up like this, you're well under the 10mb limit.

I had to split them because my shitty computer can't handle editing all the peices and the libraries got messed up when I tried to merge them.

Great job on this one too, maybe a little short but great all the same XD

It gets intesting with time, so it works. The sound desing was overall good, Your characters got personality and and mostrly your graphics are pretty good, yet you need to improve your animation, it looks too mechanic, try to apply action lines to your character poses and some acceleration to make them more natural.

By the way - at the end of each part, now that you have the NG and DA links, you could make a button to go automatically to the next episode. You may even want to make a menú with all aviable episodes, it will not only make it easier to find the episodes with a custom menú made by you, itcould also encourage your viewers to watch more.

Action lines as in a line on a new layer as guides or like, an actual motion guide? either way, it's a great suggestion. I'm gonna try my best not to split following episodes up, but links to other episodes sound like a good idea, too. Thanks for the review!

The-almighty-EK responds:

Yeah, That's one of my few quarks with FF, they are losing hit points, but they look fine. Then when they fall down dead they still look fine. It's weird. :D
