Why do I enjoy this dark comedy?

God, these things are hilarious, the vets office looked horrible, but that gave it a certain charm that made the ending that much more of a surprise.

The comedy is dark, but not overdone, the very end (the paper airplane note), sort of eased any animal rights activists from getting angry at you, and kept the dark aspect in check. Your style is lazy, offhand, dark, but funny, creative and I daresay addictive if I were to think about it.

I gave this an 8 because it is still a short, but if you could extend this to a full-length flash, who knows...

Sort of Funny

When I just started watching it, I didn't really see much hope for it ( the..erhm.. badly drawn vets office). When it actually got to inside, I thought it was pretty funny how the hand just "reaches" up from the center of his body, either that was intended as a style, or just laziness in animation either way I liked it.

There was a little humor, and I never expected that the dog would get shot, so it was a surprise. Overall though, this could use a little more polish.

I just knew something bad was going to happen to the poor dog. I'm sorry to say I was right. It was a little sick what happened.

Based on animation it was alright. I did see that when the vet was walking away that his name tag was backwards which showed that you didn't bother to take the time to flip it around correctly.
