Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 189 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

This is a tutorial on how to make a easy mouse wall avoider game. I thought that people that want to make games must start somewhere, so i made this tutorial to show people how to make a game.
If there is any problems with the game, please tell me and i will try to fix it.

Big help

It was a really big help to me but you forgot 1 major thing, well actually 2.
First one, there wasn't described how to make a button which sends you to the next level. 2nd, people can still cheat by pressing right mousebutton - Play. I also noticed that people could get outside of your level and in fact lose 2 lives, 1 for getting out and 1 for getting back in. If you're ever considering making a second tutorial maybe you could add more advanced options like how to put music in the game.
This tutorial has helped me a lot, but it could use some tweaking and more options.

i made a decent game

thanks to you! make more tutorials on games! perhaps a platformer tutorial?

Thank you very much!

Now I can make my first flash game! :D

Once again I really have to thank you for making this.

I've been looking for this tutorial!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for creating this tutorial. I'm trying to make a flash game and I couldn't figure out where to get all the codes. This tutorial really helps :)

Flashsubmit responds:

Thanks, I am glad to help.

I liked the music!

Wow, I was looking at my audio page today and was shocked to find out that it was in a submission. I've waited months for this! :O

Anyway, I do not have flash, and therefore was not able to apply the tutorial. The fact that a layman such as myself was able to understand it means you must have done something right, though. :P A little more color would have been nice, but that's no big.

Thanks again for the publicity/using my song. :)

Flashsubmit responds:

Cool, glad you could understand. And I was glad to use your song. And I shall work on colors.
