A good place to start.

Erm...this was decently drawn but had little animation in it making me wonder why it was a movement test. Naturally it being a movement test it doesn't exactly REQUIRE sound but it would have added to the general vibe you get from any animation. As said by k1rby NGers don't tend to like tests or previews which is why I suggest holding onto your experiment's and post when you have a fully rounded and finalised piece. By no means stop experimenting; experimentation is how we learn and I for one have many flashes which are tests in animation, action script and so
on. Keep working on your style, it has plenty of potential but needs some conditioning. Future works are much anticipated.
