I just realized the music is out of sync -_-. I just learned why the reason for that is too! All i can say is "Thanks" to the Forum Tutorials ^_^

So this is my first submission... and my first flash... Generally, it's one of those uninspired stick movies, with a boring storyline, rips off DBZ, with Naruto and Bleach theme songs. Also, I've only decided to learn flash about a week ago, and I've only spent a week on this movie, therefore my lack of experience shows right through. ^_^ BUT I'm not saying that it is pointless! Everyone has to start somewhere!
Basically, I just wanted to do something easy for practice and to see what I am capable of doing, so I don't mind if it gets blammed :) But hopefully not ^_^ I am expecting some helpful feedback... Something that would help me grow as an artist...
Also at the end of the movie, I said "To Be Continued" but its probably not gonna happen, because I'm already moving on to my next project, which I hope will have better animations and a better plot. I first intended to create a part two of Dekai Kaisen, but lost motivation for it near the end (as you can probably tell; The first few scenes were really crappy, since i made them my first day, and the later scenes gradually got better, and then suddenly started to go downhill from there). I also intended to make a scene selection, but since I couldn't get it to work right, there's an unneccesary title page :P after the intro. Can someone teach me how to make one?

Great!!!

Awesome. I liked how you used a variety of music and the part about the wii was cool. Also I liked the part were he used the super saiyain. Great flash!!!!

not bad one

that was an alright animation. a little bit short, but it did have a nice plot/concept to it, good for a first animation, decent for sticks and your efforts were nice.... especially since you used a flash tutorial(s) to help you out... glad to see new flash artists using them. for your next animation, i'd also suggest checking out the audio portal.

Thanks a million!

Well....

There's a lot you could say about this flash's negative points. But I'll say that, while there's plenty to work on in terms of the basics, I'm sure time & practice will fix that. My real problem with this movie is the setup of the story itself. The art/visuals, music, etc of any flash are one thing (something that comes from technical skill), but putting all the technical parts together to create a good flash, regardless of your skill level in the TECHNICAL dept. might be a different kettle of fish.

For instance, even though this was a beginning step to becoming better at flash movie creation (and it shows TECHNICALLY ^_^), and that took points off, the attempt at humor (the PPG reference), starting a "serious" story.... with the main chara. playing the wii, the action, etc. was a nice CREATIVE touch that entertained beyond the looks.

A GREAT example of this is 'DBZ (In a banana peel)'. It's NOT what you’d call tops visually or in flash technicalities, but DAMN is it creatively funny! (IMO at least ^_^). In any case, it's a good stepping stone.

Rondillo responds:

Thanks for the review! I will continue to practice to get better at it and work on developing a better story next time. Also, you're right about DBZ(In a banana peel. It was very lol funny, but I could never see myself doing same type of crude humor. just not my style ^_^

what happened

it was going so good but then you cut it off.....dont try to do the sequel type crap unless its actually going to make the story better. Overall really good

Rondillo responds:

Thanks! Sorry I cut it off so soon. I actually intended it to go a lot further, but I started to lose interest in it ^_^. But the main reason for that is because I came up with a new idea and new story for a movie. I guarantee it'll be better! ^_^

Hmmm....

You show much promise, nEWb.... Much promise indeed for your first flash. but for someone who threw this together in their first week, this shows more than a lot of such stick-animations. A little dose of humour never hurts, either. Add some colour, keep improving and you'll go places!

btw,
You don't have to have a good pre-loader to be a great flash artist!!

{NB "Newb" as opposed to "Noob"; two very different meanings ;) }

Rondillo responds:

Thanks!
