I really think this deserved a 10. maybe the screen was a bit small; but everything else made up for it. I'm not much of a critic, but I know what I like.

Decent little short.

It's more of an inside joke than a tribute. I did like the effect used on the island. I was thinking about making a Cave Story tribute myself. Here's a tip: In the Cave Story data files, renaming files with the extension .pmb to an image file extension, like .gif, you can convert them to editable sprite sheets. Make a copy of the .pmb first though, so you don't kill the game.

It's about time someone made a flash (on Newgrounds, anyways) of one of the greatest free games of all time...

Nothing too special about this one. Mixture of sprites and flash wierded me out a bit, though. Also, the hat was odd; the antenna's supposed to be part of the bot's head, not the hat!

I'm a retro fan, and I just love that you added music (and sound) from two great games.

Well, a giant island falling on top of AutobotLock and LL HQ with a "Twomp". Is that really violent?

Yeah, only twice you could press a button. Not that's a bad thing...

I dunno why, but I cracked up laughing at the end. The music was just perfect! All panicky... then Mario!

(I dunno who or what Locklegion is or how this flash relates to its demise, so please don't be offended...)

Seeing that some others have heard of Cave Story makes me happy. If you have the time, please make more of em!

Oh, and for all those who's never played the awesomeness that is Cave Story (or Doukutsu Monogatari for all you Japanese nerds), Google it!!!

The verdict's out on this one

I'm really not all to sure about this one. The video was kinda small and hard to see, along with the fact that you really don't have too much of a clue as to what's going on here. Maybe if there was more to it besides a big blurry spaceship falling from the sky I'd be more inclined to like it.
