Well, the animation could really lead into something if you put a decent amount of effort into it.

The idea was simple, it's been done before alot... so you need to find a way to make it your own, create something unique... or something people don't see coming.

The graphics were simple, nothing spectacular... just simple. If you want to use sticks, you'll need to up their animation fluency and their other features (armour, swords), just for a better feel.

This time round, the animation was nice, fluent... nothing glitchy. Overall I think this was a great first submission, and you really have a bar to progress on.

But the charachter design is a little rough, although the animation was smooth. I loved the use of the FF7 boss battle remix (yes, I'm nerdy enoguh to tell that), and if you submit the full version with better graphics, I'm sure you could make front page work.
